Hi I'm very dissatisfied with the care I received , I'm an N.H.S patient not that this should make any difference as far a my care is concerned , I had an op in Feb for vericious veins , my pre op assement appointment was Booked for 1.30pm I was seen one hour and fourty mins later , the staff apoligesed for this , but I felt this was not a good start , I have never waited this long for an appointment and felt very stressed, my op was secduled for sat , I arrived at 12.15pm as planned , nothing to eat since 5am , I was told at the pre op assessment that I would be operated on within 1to 2 hours of my arrival but had to wait till 4.35pm with no pain relief and nil by mouth 11hours later , due to this being my first visit to this hospital I was very anxious and felt very vulnerable , the nursing staff were in a hurry to go home as
I came from theatre at 6pm , at 8.30 pm they knocked on my door and said they were going home ! So I had to hurry ! The op went well but the care was very dissapointing , will definitely NOT go there again .
