"The core values of nurses"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary / General medicine

(as the patient),

I went to the MRI outpatients this afternoon for some  tests, to follow up from a consultation last week. The nurse who took my blood (I've forgotten her name, but she was on shift on Thursday 18th Feb, she reminded me of the quality of nursing staff that we've historically had in the NHS.

It's so nice to have a conversation with someone, to be greeted with a smile, and to have an impeccable bedside manner - she certainly put a smile on my face, and deserves a thank you for being one of the heroes keeping our NHS alive.
