"Eye infection."

About: Grantham & District Hospital

Some weeks ago I had a serious eye infection, the eye swelled up to the size of a golf ball. After several days I decided to visit A&E in the early hours of Sunday morning. I was seen within 10 minutes, given a CAT scan and sent to Lincoln Hospital for an emergency appointment with an eye specialist. After an examination it was determined as a cist under the eye lid.

My treatment was amazing, just world class. The doctors and nursing staff work tirelessly for people like me and I'm eternally grateful.

So a big thanks to all at the Grantham Hospital.
