"Unlucky"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

I had an emergency detatched retina operation in March 2015.

Things progressed well until an epiretinal membrane began growing which distorted my vision seriously.

I had a second operation to remove the membrane but in my opinion this should have been done earlier before it got as bad as it did.

I am left with hardly any vision in my left eye. Everything is blurred and distorted.

Hopefully a cataract operation may improve this but I'm doubtful.
