"Waiting for our medical records"

About: NHS Highland (Health)

(as the patient),

We have not had my medical records catch up with me and my wife. This is stopping us getting treatment as a lot of information is in historical records, in particular for the diagnosis and tests genetic neurology and other for charcot marie tooth and the tests done to come up with that diagnosis.. This information is urgently required.

For my wife, an update of her mental health and arthritis conditions.

We moved to Caithness last year and our current GP is missing records for us both. There are also gaps in care when moving from Scotland to England of over 20 years.

Our current gp has requested records from a number of places where we have lived.

The gp has also applied to nhs England a few times according to patient notes.

We would like everyone to do their bit and find our records as so far we kept getting told you will have to wait.

We have waited nearly a year.

We both want 100 percent assurances since birth our records are complete.
