"They will do anything for you if they can"

I have been a carer for X for very many years and the NHS has been wonderful, I can't fault it at all. Our GP at the Margaret Thompson Medical Centre is a really wonderful man. He comes to check on X sometimes when he is in the area even when I haven’t called, just to make sure that everything is ok. He has been our GP for a long time and even though we don’t live close any more we stayed there because we know and trust him. If I ever had a problem I know he would be there in a flash. His practice nurse also calls out. She is also really nice. She talks like we’ve known each other all our lives which makes me feel at ease. She says what a nice, positive atmosphere there is in the house. She’s told me that the doctor always says that X is being very well looked after. As a carer that makes me feel valued which is lovely. The receptionists are also so helpful. They will do anything for you if they can. They all know us. - feedback left via Healthwatch Liverpool
