"Lack of care for quieter patients"

Hi. I was admitted to woodlands detox via Leicester recovery partnership. Initially I found half of the staff quite helpful but as time has gone on I have found this alarmingly less. I am by nature fairly quiet, though not lacking in confidence. So if I want or need something I shall ask politely. This form of request seems redundant here. In order to get something, you need to harangue the staff as is displayed by the louder, more obnoxious client. This role becomes particularly apparent at medication times where I am usually always last to be seen or forgotten entirely if I retreated to my bedroom. Maybe I am being paranoid but since I have been here it seem my needs are less important than others.

By nature, I am slim, by design I have always been active. Most sports, gardening or just long walks. None of which I can do here. For the past four days I have been asking for 20 minutes on the treadmill but the staff are always too busy. There is very little structure here. An hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon doing things like arts and crafts. With the odd exception I feel that most of the staff are uncaring and the food is dreadful.
