"Hospital admin"

About: Bmi - The London Independent Hospital

I am a private patient and my fist visit to the hospital was on the 09/02/16. I met with the doctor and the doctor was very polite and helpful and I felt the consultation was really good. I then saw a member of staff to book my-self in for an MRI scan, they gave me a date of 19/02/16. The doctor told me that if the hospital does not call you that I should call them. The hospital did not call me so today, 15/02/16, I called the hospital and enquired about my MRI scan, to my surprise they said that I was not on the list. I was rather astonished as I was given an appointment card for the 19th. They said they only had a referral for an MRI and X-ray. I had no idea I even needed an X-ray, just an MRI. So I had to book another date. I don't know what to say about this, had I not called and travelled down to the hospital on the 19th for them to then tell I was not on the list I would have been very frustrated.

It appears the hospital staff needs some help brushing up their admin skills, or whatever the issue is here it needs to be resolved and not to be repeated again to any patient.
