My daughter had a fall at school on Wednesday 10th February 2016 so my mum and I took her to the MIU at Newark.
From start to finish we were treated with kindness and the staff were mindful of allaying my daughters fears as she was in pain and a little scared of having an x-ray(never having one before).
It turned out she had broken her wrist and the plaster nurse was gentle with her, and made us a follow up appointment for the following day at the fracture clinic.
We were in the unit for a total of 2.5 hours, which was quite quick considering we were seen by a nurse, doctor, had an x-ray and had her arm plastered!.
Thank you for the professionalism and kindness of your staff.
