"Went in on 9th February 2016 for hernia operation"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

Went in at 7.30 as requested, didn't get called to OP until 1415. Someone has to be last! All the time I was in the care of ward 27 I cannot fault anything. The staff were very frendly and all of them seemed to be in good spirits, I expected doom and gloom but found none.i was checked very closely by several people including my surgeon, the anaesthetist and several other nurses. I was waiting in a side ward kitted out with reclining leather armchairs. With my book I soon passed the hours away.aftercare was great with welcome cups of tea and sandwiches until my son and my partner came to collect me. Keith Harrison.
