I was taken to this hospital due to excruciating headache which is suspected to be what's known as cluster headache. In some countries it is otherwise known as "suicide headache" and indeed at one point of the night I was suicidal. Hence concerned friends ended up calling emergency services, and I was taken to the A&E in an ambulance as I was told it was entirely up to my choice. Arrived there only to be met with patronizing nurse who rolled their eyes in my face without even having heard why friends decided to call the ambulance, I didn't mention the fact I was suicidal as I was embarrassed to. The doctor then lectured in an extremely accusatory manner that I should have send ambulance back. It was more an interrogation session not an attitude of medical carer. This doctor might as well work as a police force, I sincerely wish their and the nurse's family member gets the same treatment when they are seriously ill. None of the records taken by the paramedics were even looked at, same questions asked again by doctor - so what is the point of paramedics taking down records? When the dismissive doctor left without taking any of these information into consideration, I asked the nurse whether I should get a brain scan at one stage. Absolutely not they said, as it costs a lot and also not good for the brain to be zapped unnecessarily. Then, they go outside the cubicle to mock my question among colleagues "she wants to get her brain zapped" and laughing.
