My daughter had her appendix removed on Saturday evening at the Whittington.
The care she received was second to none from when we arrived in A&E, the surgical team, the anaesthetic team and the staff on Ifor Ward.
Post op the nurses and foundation surgical doctor really helped a very frightened 9yr old through a stressful time.
In A&E the surgical team explained everything thoroughly to us. The nurses constantly reassured my daughter and were fabulous.
What an impressed service !
