What I liked
the atmosphere is calm, positive, bright place unlike other hospitals.the stuff are very friendly, patient, helpfull&accomodating.i didnt encounter any hint of indifference to me as a person.the varied therapies offered is a blessing.i finally felt i arrived to a place who can really make a difference to my life.i was tossed about in different departments in other hospitals,i was never givena treatment, basically all i heard was nothing we can do.there was no treatment offered which i know can help manage my condition&improve it&certainly nothing was offered as a cure.all changed when i arrived to this hospital.
What could be improved
making it known to all patients,at GP surgeries&hospitals of the available clinics here.i wish i didnt have to have a new referal each time but all done through the hospital itself, cos mostly everything we suffer from is related to the whole body&mind&has to be treated as such.
Anything else?
i am partucularly upset about the lack of information through my GP surgery, hospitals etc.i was shocked to hear that my local health authority is discouraging doctors from recommending this hospital cos they want to stop the funding.i find this unacceptable practice.the hospital is an NHS hospital&should not be treated with discrimination.it's not just about homeopathy.there are many other treatments available which we,the tax payers are not aware of&actually kept in the dark about.i would like all surgeries to have leaflets which are provided by the hospital for the various conditions they treat.i would like doctors to be informed about these clinics(the ones i spoke to didnt know anything about it).the country will save a lot of money on expensive drug treatments, some with serious side effects&unsuccessful treatments if more people are reffered to the RLHH.
