(as a service user),

I was a user of mental health services at LGI, where I recieved excellent care. My care was transfered to a Leeds based community mental team. Here I have recieved a varriable welcome, from both non clinical staff and those of the medical profession. On a number of occasions I have left consultations very upset due to the lack of repect and dignity shown to me. This has left me feeling abused to the point where I feel I can not put myself in this possition again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience of mental health services. I was pleased to hear you received excellent care at the LGI but sad to hear this was not the case when your care was transferred over to the community care team, in particular the lack of respect and dignity shown to you. We shall pass your comments on to the staff concerned.
