"Pathetic A&E for Children"

HI,

I took my 4 year daughter to the A&E yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. She had twisted her fore arm during play. So I rushed to the A&E and started waiting in waiting section. Since she was in lot of pain and after 10 - 15 mins no body called her in triage I requested one nurse can they gave her some ibuprofen or calpol because she was in pain and continuously crying. The nurse said that there were 2 more patient go to the triage before you, so you have to wait another 10 - 15 mins. After 15 mins since nobody called I pleaded nurse please give her some ibuprofen or calpol and then they weigh her and gave some ibuprofen and calpol. After waiting 2 hour then a doctor called us to see my daughter and the doctor looked my daughter's hand and said that they need help from their senior, who was sitting on computer desk since last 2 hours. After another 20 mins they had mercy to my daughter and put back my daughter twisted fore arm.

I live in Cambridge and always had good experience with our local hospital. But NHS kingston is pathetic. My friend said they also had the same experience and thats why they have taken medical insurance for private check up.
