"Lacerated finger!"

I had to visit A and E today due to a deep cut to my finger. Unfortunately, I had a long wait until I was eventually seen, but after this I was extremely impressed with the care received. I saw an excellent nurse who immediately sent me for an Xray to check for foreign bodies- i.e. glass.

Then I had my wound seen to and stitched up by the lovely and very competent nurse who gave me care advice for the next week. Incredible to get such brilliant care without having to pay a penny.

We are all very lucky to get health care for free.
