"Delays in getting HRT"

About: West London NHS Trust / Gender Identity Clinic

(as the patient),

I was referred to Charing Cross in 2013. It took 13 months for my first appointment. I was given the go ahead for HRT 6 months later, however had to wait 9. 5 weeks for my letter. In November 2015 I was given the go ahead for surgery, however at 12 weeks after the appointment I still have not received my letter, and have been informed it will be another 2 weeks. The waiting is terrible and needs to be addressed asap.

I would like to apologise for the lack of response to your post, as well as the other delays you have experienced. I would like to know however, if you are still waiting for your letter that you described you were still waiting for 14 weeks after your appointment.

Would you be able to make contact with PALs on 0800 0643330 to give further details on this, so I can follow it up

Thank you
