"Husbands stroke care - second to none!"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Neurology

(as a relative),

The treatment my husband got in Stroke Unit second to none! Staff were caring and never made us feel any of our questions were pointless! Patience was their middle name! Professional to their fingertips without forgetting they were treating people with human worries! Thank you

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

Dear renem,

Thank you so much for sharing your kind comments about the staff in the stroke unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital - I will be sure that they get to read you comments and I'm sure they will appreciate them as much as I do.

Families are such an important partner in the care of our patients, and what you have demonstrated here is how well the team in the stroke unit understand that.

I hope that your husband is now doing well and wish both of you the very best,

Lorna
