"cannot get through on the number supplied"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as the patient),

I have been trying to book an ambulance for two days to take me for an appointment at the Crosshouse Hospital but can never get through, it’s the 0300 number on my appointment letter that I’m using.

Dear Sun821,

Thank you very much for your message and for bringing this matter to my attention. I am aware that we have received an exceptionally high volume of calls to our National Direct Patient Booking line over the past few days, however I am surprised to hear you have been unable to get through at all. I am extremely sorry that you have been unable to access

To make sure you can access your appointment at Crosshouse Hospital, can I ask that you please email me at cconroy@nhs.net and provide me with a contact number so one of my team can get in touch with you to discuss your transport needs.

Best Wishes,

Chris
