"nothing"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

(as a relative),

What I liked

nothing

What could be improved

When my boyfriend was admitted he was in agony, the nursing staff repeatedly promised pain relief but I had to visit the desk Four times in the space of an hour and a half for it to be provided.

When he asked to go to the toilet a nursing assistant tried to frogmarch him across the ward despite him having limited mobility.

He was generally ignored by the nursing staff and doctors who talked over the top of him although he was a peice of meat.

I concede that the staff were busy but to ignore someone who is so poorly is completly unacceptable
