"I would be permenantly disabled without my..."

About: University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust

I had a serious road accident in February 2014, resulting in an acromoclavicular dislocation grade 3 / 4. A surgeon carried out an assessment and operated in August 2014. I had a surgical sling inserted in my shoulder and 4mm of bone removed from my acromo joint. With physio its taken over 12 months to return to 80% of previous functionality.

The surgeon and team were ultimate professionals, both caring, explaining what the operation was about and plotting recovery.

Thankyou
