"Gynaecology Outpatient Review"

I had a new appointment at Gynaecology LRI under the doctor on Wednesday 6th May. The whole experience was excellent and is exactly how an appointment should run.

On arrival the receptionist was calm & friendly, checked my details etc. The nursing staff called me through for the necessary pre appointment checks. I had a full history taken before my appointment.

The appointment with the doctor was excellent. We discussed at length my options for treatment. There was absolutely no pressure on me or any treatment forced upon me. They sought my views every step of the way and ultimately let me make an informed choice about my treatment. There was no time pressure and I had every opportunity to ask questions and say how I felt about my health issue. My partner attended the appointment and was actively involved in the discussion and I felt the Consultant was very patient with us. They were also very clear and articulate and I left feeling very informed and reassured.

I cannot speak highly enough of the experience and I would recommend this service.
