"urology care"

About: Leicester General Hospital

I was transferred from the LRI to Ward 28 at LGH earlier this month and would like to thank everyone involved in my care. Initially I was cared for on Ward 28 which was extremely busy all the time I was there. Everyone was very good and caring and

I only have one comment to make - could pain relief be a priority- I am not sure why I had to wait so long for pain relief sometimes but I know renal colic is a difficult condition to manage and to suffer from. Thank you to all the staff working there as their care was very good in very difficult conditions sometimes as they work very hard.

I was then transferred to Ward 22 and could not fault the care that I received there. It was an excellent team that cared for me who could not have cared for me better if I had been in private care. Every member of staff - cleaners, housekeepers, nurses and medical staff always smiled and their care was second to none - well done and thank you to the Sister and all the staff on Ward 22.

Thank you for your useful feedback about the staff on wards 22 and 28.

It is always our aim to provide the best possible care so we're really pleased this appears to have been the case, although we are very sorry about the delays in pain relief.

We will share your comments with the team who will really your feedback.
