"Fantastic care, thank you!"

I gave birth to my daughter at UHND 4 years ago and could not praise the staff highly enough, so much so that I would say I enjoyed my stay there.

Our son was born here on the 6th January 2016 and the care we received from all areas of the the maternity department was exceptional.

We had regular visits to the PAU in the week leading up to the birth, delivery on ward 10 then a 2 night stay on ward 8. Given the hospital was unusually busy during this period of time, even closing as they were full, we were amazed at how calm and quiet it seemed.

This is all down to the amazing care of the staff, who always made us feel a priority.

We would just like to thank all of the doctors, midwives, maternity assistants and all of the other staff in these departments for making the birth of our son such a fantastic experience.
