"My step father"

About: Worthing Hospital

Had an appointment today at 12.30 my step father had multiple tests and admittance to hospital regarding he's problems. He went for the appointment under extreme stress regarding the procedure alone, as he's wife died of bowel cancer, he was scared to be alone, which is why my daughter asked the receptionist if she could stay with him because of how he felt. They said no he's a grown man he'll be fine. My daughter was instructed to come back in an hour, it was 2 hours later before he came out and was in deep distress when he got in the car. I know that there are cut backs, staff shortages but Worthing hospital endoscopy unit let down my father and most certainly didn't fulfill they're duty of care and they should feel ashamed as we are of them
