"Lara and Nicky from the Dorset Ambulance Service"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

My dad, who is 92 and diabetic, had a hypo at five in the morning.  A neighbour called the ambulance and I arrived to find Lara and Nicky reviving him. They were just lovely.

They looked after him until he was better and gave him advice about seeing the District Nurse which he has followed. This was a great help as he normally rejects any similar advice from his children!

Hi Istillhaveadad

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. I hope your Dad is feeling better.

It is very rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in your father's care, however to do so we will need some specific information. If you are happy to do so, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Sara
