"Total lack of understanding of mentally ill..."

About: Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Myself and my son made a complaint about a certain person in a Brighton mental health team

It was over seen by CEO of Sussex Partnership

Well what a complete waste of time that was no major findings found surprise surprise but this is a learning point that will be taken on board and shared with and actioned by the clinical teams that was written in the report. Before making this complaint my son tried to take his own life due to the total unsupported and non caring attitude of the team.

Well if the mental health teams are still learning how can you trust them with our ill and vulnerable sons and daughters?

My son was the victim in all this and they have the cheek to use him as a learning tool go hang your heads in shame...

Sussex Partnership are very sorry that this family feel unsupported and uncared for by the team.

We do plan to meet in the very near future with the family, to address the serious concerns expressed.
