I had my appointment cancelled and re organized from Pinderfields to Pontefract.
The hospital was different to what I had imagined, it was clean and modern and the staff were lovely.
I visited the Gynecology Department and was treated with dignity and respect.
I was given a diagnosis which meant I needed a prescription but instead of the clinic issuing this I was told to contact my GP in about a week.
10 days later and nothing was sent through.
MY GP has said I need to chase the hospital so I rang the main number and was told I need to speak to the consultants secretary.
I was left on Hold for over 15 mins so I hung up and rang again.
I was put through again but no one answered.
Having spent 10 weeks waiting for an appointment, a further 10 days for treatment and now no answered calls or help from the department secretary I am no further on.
All I have is a diagnosis and I now need to ring my GP to discuss my condition again and hope he can figure out what treatment I should have.
I am still in a good deal of discomfort and no one is willing to help
