"Maternity staff"

I was admitted to delivery suite on Xmas eve, prior to this I had been on the phone to staff when I started experiencing pains. This is my first baby and I was understandably nervous, the staff were lovely, supportive and made my experience what it was. Although I can't name staff my midwife was amazing, they delivered my baby and literally never left me, they supported me throughout and talked me through everything that was happening. For the rest of my stay they would check on me and baby which made me feel staff cared. The staff helped me shower and ensured my room was spotless after delivery of my baby. I breastfeed and again I received a massive amount of support. All maternity staff were brilliant these nurses worked Xmas day and went out there way to make me feel looked after we even received a Xmas present. I would not hesitate in recommending Sunderland maternity to others as my experience was a positive one.
