"Very disappointing."

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

I have left my appointment with a Consultant, absolutely disgusted and my faith in people that I am in care of very low.

I have no idea how people can use such disrespectful bedside manor when addressing patients. You put faith in people to treat you right and give you the best advice possible but unfortunately this person doesn't. I am traumatised and worried about my labour when I do have to attend to give birth.

Regardless of people's weight, sex, age. People should be treated with respect and certain things that need to be explained , need to be explained in a nice way, not putting you down. Nobody is perfect and for the hospital to have someone like them working there gives them a bad name. A letter of complaint to nhs England has been sent! Unfortunately I don't think they realise I also work for the NHS. And if my manager knew I spoke to someone the way they did in afraid I wouldn't have a job.
