"Physiotherapy"

About: Bath Clinic

Last week I had a shoulder decompression with tear repair.

The treatment from the consultant was excellent and nursing staff adequate.

However, today I went for my first session of physiotherapy.

This proved to be negative and upsetting.

I was treated with very little respect and made to feel like a naughty little schoolgirl.

I was left confused about pain relief and worried and upset about my progress.

Comments like 'well I haven't got x ray eyes' from the physio when I asked if they wanted me to remove my jacket - were totally patronising.

I left the hospital in tears and my husband, who was with me during the so called treatment, went back in to complain.

We are awaiting a phone call tomorrow.

This totally negative, upsetting experience would make me hesitant to use or recommend the clinic.
