What I liked

Everything. I visit glenfield regualrly both as an inpatient and an outpatient, and i can confirm the care I have recieved on each occasion is exemplary. The staff are always helpful and will explain anything you need if you ask them. The food has improved and it is always very clean and modern- especially in comparison to the other Leicester hospitals which aesthetically are a bit shabby. I too have spent time on CDU and found the experience to be fine, yes it does take time to get a discharge letter and medication, and sometimes you have to wait a while to see a doctor and be assessed- but that is probably because there are a lot of poorly people on CDU and it is a very busy ward.

What could be improved

More respiratory wards/beds to lessen time spent on CDU.
