"Worst hospital"

About: Yeovil District Hospital

My 10 month old disabled child who was born prematurely was admitted with bronchiolitis. They didn't even check on him the first night he was in with his breathing or feeding even tho he was struggling. In the morning he pulled his feeding tube out and I asked the staff to either reinsert or remove the tube and they said they would be in soon. After 2 and a half hours and changeover of nurses they finally sorted it. I also asked them to feed my son through his tube as he was refusing his bottle and they promised they would, as I went downstairs to collect some of my sons stuff off his dad I came back upstairs to find my son still crying and an hour later a nurse came in and their words were 'oh by the way we didn't feed him'. I was getting no answers from doctors or nurses about the health of my son and it took me shouting at the doctors for them to finally get answers. I asked the nurses to watch my son while I popped home for a shower and it took my friend who was also admitted on the ward and her family to go into my sons room and sort him as the nurses all stood outside my sons room laughing away and ignoring him. After they told my friend and her family they couldn't be in the room they finally sorted him out and looked after my little boy. The staff of ward 10 is absolutely ridiculous and definitely should not be as disrespectful as they are. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this hospital as it was clearly shown that no one knows how to do their job properly.
