"Arrogant and unpleasant Neurology"

About: Leicester General Hospital

After going through some symptoms I'd had for quite a while on and off with my GP they referred me to the Neurologist because suspicion of MS. After reading previous reviews of the department I wasn't looking forward to my appointment. I was hoping I would be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately not.

My neurologist was arrogant and generally unpleasant. They questioned why I was there at all as if I were making things up. And questioned why my doctor had sent me. No conversation just fired questions at me and didn't even look at me. Did a few random things like reflexes and lifting my legs then touching my nose and their finger with my eyes close. Decided it was stress and sent me on my way. Only in there less than 10 minutes and felt totally humiliated. Disgusted that after all these similar reviews this behaviour is allowed to continue. These doctors are not above us and we go to them worried and concerned and they treat us like dirt. This department could learn a lot from other fantastic departments at the hospital
