I recently attended A&E in distress during the middle of the night and cannot praise the nurse and doctor enough. The triage nurse could not have been more understanding, compassionate, and kind. Waiting in a stifling waiting room with large numbers of other patients, I expected a frazzled staff and a long wait, but I was seen by the triage nurse within an hour and a half, and they resolved my problem quickly, with the aid of a doctor who happened into the triage room by accident. I cannot raise this service highly enough. It is clearly some of the systems that are failing at this hospital and not their personnel.
