"Thank you to the Female Day Surgery Unit Team..."

I was a patient in the Day Surgery Unit yesterday and just wanted to a say a massive thank you to my Consultant and the rest of the team in the theater and to the lovely team of Nursing staff who talked me through everything in detail and calmed my nerves as it was my first time being put out for an operation.

During my time on the ward it was impressive to observe the Nurses, Doctors, Porters and the rest of the team working to look after everyone all with smiles on their faces and watching how they tailored their care styles to deal with the various ages, language barriers and personalities of each patient.

The NHS receives such bad press sometimes but nobody every really remembers to say thank you to all the medical & service professionals who look after us so I just wanted to take a few minutes out to say thank you.
