My mother sadly recently died in the Acute Stroke Unit of the Royal Berks Hospital after being in their care for 10 days. I cannot find the words to adequately describe the excellent care that both my mother and our family received throughout. My mum's needs were met at all times with the utmost respect and her dignity maintained throughout. The staff at all levels on this unit work together cohesively to ensure that the high standard of care given is seamless and treat all family members with the greatest compassion and respect. All together a shining example of what the NHS is capable of providing with the right people in place with a positive attitude.
"A Shining Example of What the NHS is Capable of"
