"Too many staff with nothing to do, doing it wrong"

About: King George Hospital

Arrive at reception and hand in appointment letter. Wait. A nurse in green collects letter and me and escort to waiting area. They vanish with letter. Other people come and go. 20 minutes later a nurse walks in and says "I don't recognise you. Were you brought here? What is your name?" Tell them, yes we were brought down by a nurse in green and my surname. Off they go. Comes back and off I go for treatment. Can only assume nurse in green did not do their job properly by failing to leave appointment letter in correct tray or advise staff I had arrived. Humiliating or what.
