I wanted to leave a review of my recent dealings with Leicester Royal's Children's Department. I feel people are very quick to come on here with a bad review but Don't bother after a good experience leaving the hospital looking not so good!! Anyway I just wanted to say from the moment we entered the children's ward with our little boy to leaving after a tonsillectomy and edenoidectomy we were treated so well I don't feel we could have paid for better care. This included a little complication after the op in recovery and an overnight stay on ward 12 high dependency where the nurses were brilliant! The only negative I have to say about the hospital Is the parking is shocking. Anyway well done Leicester Royal and a big thank you to our NHS!!!

Dear reviewer, Thank you for posting this comment, we really appreciate the positive feedback and this will mean a lot to the team who are all passionate about providing the best possible care for their young patients! We have shared this with the children's surgery service managers, as well as the matrons for ward 12. With regards to the parking, we are well aware of the issues this causes and know it can be incredibly frustrating for patients and visitors. That's why we are currently building a new multi-storey car park (alongside our new A&E) to provide over 400 more spaces onsite.
