"£200 to be rushed through and receive poor care"

About: Priory Hospital

I was referred here by my dentist for an impacted tooth. They were late and I had to wait a while for my appointment, not what you expect with private treatment. The specialist I saw didn't even have a copy of my x-ray and spent all of 30 seconds looking in my mouth before telling me that it was fine. It was entirely under the gum, none of the tooth was visible to the eye, so how they could know that without seeing an x-ray I have no idea. Now the tooth has come through to the surface at an odd angle and has given me problems. I'm going to have to have it out and it has also damaged the tooth in front of it. The reason my dentist referred me so early was to prevent tooth damage to the one in front. Can't believe I spend £200 for this, feel like they're taking the mickey. The care I received wasn't even substandard. Save your money, you would get treated better by NHS doctors.
