"The staff all made me feel at ease."

About: Freeman Hospital

I was sent to The Freeman instead of The RVI for an appendectomy, which I was dreading having done. I found the ward (the day treatment centre) fine, the anethnatist, consultant, staff nurse and sister where all lovely to me and really made me feel at ease about something that I was dreading. I was really pleased with the care that I received and was well looked after. Even though I was asking a lot of questions about my aftercare, the staff answered all my queries. Lovely bunch of staff x Thank you to all of them x

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on NHS Choices about your recent treatment on the Day Treatment Centre at the Freeman Hospital. We always strive to provide the very highest standards of care to patients and understand the anxiety that coming to hospital for a procedure can cause. We are pleased to hear that your surgery went well and the staff helped to put you at ease and answer your questions. Your kind comments have been passed onto the team on the Day Treatment Centre who will be greatly encouraged by your feedback. We hope that you have made a good recovery.
