"no much to like"

About: Scarborough General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

no much to like

What could be improved

appointments and information passed on to paitients

Anything else?

I had an appointment for an MRI which i revieved in a very short time. however it took over 12months and 7 moved appointments to get the results. (which were fine). I was then ssent for Nerve conduction tests which when i turn up for my appintment i was told it had been moved to earlier in the week and i had missed it even though i had only recieved one letter from the hospital and arived on that date. When i phone the hospital to find out a bout an appointment for the results (about 3months later as i had not heard anything) i was told i had been discharged from the conultants care the day he refered me for the testing. How can a paitent be discharged from a consultans care the same time they are sent for test??? i had not even had the test he requested when i was dischard let alone know the results. and to top this off nearly every appointment i have had at the hospital has been moved or my records have not been available and i have had to wait. Many of the nurses are realy very nice but more co-ordiaiton and better paitent management needs to be a priority for the hospital.
