"Outstanding endoscopy unit"

I have been to the endoscopy unit twice this year.

On both occasions I cannot fault the care, kindness and professionalism of every single member of staff I met.

They are a very friendly team who clearly take great pride in providing the highest possible level of care to all their patients.

Whereas the procedures are not pleasant they all do their upmost to put you at your ease, explain everything that will happen and give emotional support throughout. You can also see how well they all get on with each other making for a very cohesive and effective team.

Having worked in the NHS myself for many years and looking after a child with complex needs I know from both sides how hospitals run.

This department is an example of the very best there is in the NHS.
