I was referred to The ENT clinic on a 2 week cancer pathway. I was understandably very nervous.
At no point did the nurse or doctor introduce themselves, at the time that didn't matter to me I just wanted to finish the appointment and receive the diagnosis.
It was only upon reflection afterwards that I realised that I actually don't know which Doctor I saw or their grade......

If it was a first appointment, you would, most probably, have been seen by a consultant ENT surgeon. If you wish to check, or require further information, the Trust appointments centre (01925 541169) will be able to help.
