My wife was referred to the EPU following a miscarriage for an operation to remove the foetus due to complications with it, and the staff there deserve a medal.
What was a bloody awful experience was made significantly easier thanks to the caring gentle nature of all the nurses working the word.
They couldn't do enough for us, and even after their shift had ended they came to check on us before going home.
Can't thank them enough for looking after us.
