"Awful appointment system"

I have been attending the midland eye centre for many years.

Last time I went in May, I was told that I needed to go back in 6 months and an appointment would come through the post.

I should have received an appointment to be seen sometime in November.

At the end of January, after receiving no appointment, I contacted the hospital to be told I was on the waiting list as there were no appointments.

Eventually, I was offered one appointment, which unfortunately, clashed with another appointment at a different hospital. I was then told because I had rejected this appointment I would have to go back on the waiting list.

It is now 4 months after I should have been seen.

Obviously this appointment system does not work.
