I had a heart attack and arrived at Bart's by ambulance. Everyone acted very quickly to stabilize my condition and I was involved in decision-making. I deeply appreciated the presence of some nurses before, during and after the surgery: I was completely alone and their friendly smiles and caring words really helped me overcome a very bad day. Thank you to all nurses of the emergency ward!
