"2nd to none"

About: Southmead Hospital

I recently went into Southmead for a very worrying and highly invasive triple A surgery (open surgery) The vascular Consultant and team provided the most superlative level of skill, care and support. The whole vascular team were brilliant., ICU then provided the most superb level of 24/7 dedicated care with personable, friendly, efficient and informative care, I cannot speak highly enough of any of them, Ward 33B where I ended up for a couple of days were very friendly and efficient.

I take this opportunity of thanking all concerned with my treatment and care during my stay, anyone who knocks Southmead is probably a serial moaner. Sure occasional things will go wrong as with ANY BUSINESS but to operate so well within present constraints is remarkable.

Dear Mr Holly – thank you for your glowing endorsement of the vascular and support care teams in ICU and Ward 33B. This has been shared with the teams concerned. I hope you are now well on the road to recovery.

Kind Regards – Steve Sykes
