"leg flap"

About: Salisbury District Hospital

I was admitted in August 2015 with full thickness electrical burns to my right leg and lower back.

Although I was in a lot of pain the nursing team on the burns unit where absolutely amazing putting up with me. Always professional & would always adhere to my specific needs with no predigest.

When i had post op delirium all the team involved where very patient & professional yet again... and i have been told i was not the easiest of patients that day in an already busy environment yet the team still maintained a positive & professional attitude towards me and my needs.

Not forgetting the surgical team that saved my life AND my leg!

Icu, the porters, anesthetists, nurses, doctors, orthopedics ,physio team & Ot's.

Im sure that there is some i have forgotten about but i have no doubt that they would of dealt with me in a manner that i have experienced the other professionals i have mentioned.

I also found the hospital to be a clean and safe environment to be in especially the burns unit and I.C.U.

Last but not least the Wessex Rehab team that are working wonders with me, still to this day!
