Having visited in August 2015 and put on the waiting list by my consultant for triple ankle fusion I have today been told today that the waiting list is now thirty to forty weeks for my surgery. What has happened to PCT recommendation of eighteen weeks for treatment? Living in constant pain there is not an employer out there willing to consider giving me a job due to needing to taking a large amount of time off when I do get my operation.
Our family have to exist on a single wage. To date 25 weeks on I still do not even have a date.
A & E have been blamed for the situation. They need to sort the situation out and provide a service that the people of Hereford can say is decent and send the time wasters who constantly use this department home with advise to use other services available.
